International Student Organizations

There are more than 900 Registered Student Organizations at MSU. There are many with an international focus, like the International Students Association (ISA), as well as other student clubs and groups that may interest you.

Involve@State is Michigan State University's Engagement Portal for students, staff, faculty, registered student organizations, major governing organizations, and University departments. The goal of Involve@State is to connect you, the student, to become engaged in co-curricular and educational opportunities. This site will also be used by registered student organizations to register or re-register with the University and request event space.

Sparticipation 2020!: Virtual Edition

August 31, 2020 - September 2, 2020

Student Life and Student Affairs and Services are happy to present Sparticipation 2020!: Virtual Edition, highlighting hundreds of student organizations, departments, programs and sponsors. Chat with members of the organizations between 5pm – 8pm ET each day! Student may visit outside of these hours during those three days, however there will be no hosts at the booths to chat with.

The Office for International Students & Scholars have also created a Sparticipation 101 Guide for International Students, providing international students a list of international student organizations that will be present at Sparticipation 2020. 

Funding for International Student Groups

MSU encourages international student organizations to share their culture as a way to contribute to the internationalization of MSU and the community of Greater Lansing. To support international student programming on campus, international student groups can apply for funding to support their programs.
