The Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS) provides support to Michigan State University's international students, scholars, and their families. International students and scholars are an integral part of MSU's global campus. Their participation in the classroom and in the Spartan community help foster a robust educational experience for all students. MSU is dedicated to providing an inclusive, supportive learning environment—giving Global Spartans the education and skills they need to tackle the world's grand challenges.
Your investment is needed to ensure MSU's international students can continue their academic work and research when faced with financial challenges. Your support creates accessible financial resources for international students who are ineligible for traditional forms of financial aid.
The global pandemic has been particularly challenging for MSU's international students. Whether in East Lansing or learning remotely from their homes around the world, the International Student Relief and Resilience Fund ensures students continue to receive a world-class education by alleviating financial burdens due to the pandemic.
The Horner Fund provides emergency assistance to international students in critical financial distress. The scholarships are made without expectation of repayment, and are designed to help international students whose attendance at MSU may be in jeopardy.
Please make checks payable to Michigan State University, and specify which fund you would like to give to in the memo line.
